After the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, the administration has stopped the people of Haryana-Punjab from meeting the victims. Accordingly, the secretary has issued orders that people coming from these two states should be stopped from going to Lakhimpur. In Lakhimpur, Gurnam Singh met the farmers injured in the violence and also met the families of the killed farmers.
