Government claims, Chadha will improve financial condition by stopping revenue theft
The Punjab government has recently set up an advisory board to advise the government on issues of public interest. Whose chairman has been made Raghav Chadha. The government’s argument is that this will speed up the work. On the other hand, the appointment of Chartered Accountant Raghav Chadha will improve the financial condition in Punjab by stopping revenue theft. Chadha has done this work in Delhi as an advisor to Finance Minister Manish Sisodia.

There is also political opposition
Raghav Chadha was an MLA from Delhi. However, in the Punjab elections, the Aam Aadmi Party won 92 out of 117 seats. When the government was formed, Chadha left the post of MLA in Delhi. AAP sent him from Punjab to Rajya Sabha. After which he was now made the chairman of the interim advisory committee. Which is also facing political opposition. He says that Punjab will be ruled by Delhi indirectly. The opposition taunted that the AAP government could not find any capable person among the 92 MLAs of Punjab and other leaders who could be appointed as the chairman.
