Pawar said the central government has given guidelines and the state government needs to follow it and urged people to wear masks and avoid crowded places.
He further said that the government will take more measures to contain COVID-19 and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is holding regular meetings. “They had meetings yesterday too,” she said.
Some states in India are again seeing a rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.
Meanwhile, India registered 37,154 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, informed Union Health Ministry on Monday.
The active caseload of COVID-19 cases in India is 4,50,899. Active cases constitute 1.46 per cent of the total cases.
