Center launched Kovin API: Now companies will be able to know whether corona vaccine is available from employee’s mobile number

The Kovin portal has launched an API on Friday to know the status of corona vaccination of a person. API (Application Program Interface) is ‘Know Your Client/Customer’s Vaccination Status’ or KYC-VS. According to the Ministry of Health, there is currently a system of vaccine certificate to know the vaccination status of a person.

It can be accessed in digital or print form from the COVIN portal. What if a company wants to see how many doses its employees, associates or customers have taken instead of a certificate? Or whether they have been vaccinated or not, then the API will be effective for this.
