Kolkata: Center has frozen all bank accounts of missionaries of Charity established by mother Teresa, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee claimed on Monday.
Banerjee expressed surprise that the move has left 22,000 patients and staff of the Missionaries of Charity without food and medicines.
“Shocked to hear ChristmasThe Union Ministry has closed all bank accounts of Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in India. Their 22,000 patients and staff have been left without food and medicines,” she tweeted.
