Celina Jaitley shares her thoughts on Umair Sandhu who recently tweeted derogatory things against the actress.
Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley on Tuesday slammed self-styled film critic Umair Sandhu, known for his controversial tweets against celebrities. Selena called them out on Twitter after claiming she was “the only actress in this Bollywood Who has slept many times with both father (Feroz Khan) and son (Fardeen Khan).
For the unversed, Umair Sandhu had followed up his tweet with another derogatory comment on Celina. The actress spoke about the same during a conversation with Subhash K Jha for Bollywood Hungama. She said, “This man, whosoever he is, went too down on me. On Tuesday, 1.4 million Twitter users witnessed the debilitating attacks and stood by me, nearly 3000 complaints were filed on Twitter, it seems, So let’s see.
He further added, “There is a unique time when things hit you below the belt not once but several times. Being a victim of constant targeted hatred by one person puts you at risk for your and your family’s safety and security as well as mental health.” Think about wellness. We are human after all. While 99 percent of the time it’s best to ignore it, the 1% gnaws at your gut that this is more than a troll and you have to protect yourself.
In her tweet, Celina addressed Umair and wrote, “Dear Mr. Sandhu Hope posting this gave you the much needed girth and length to become a man and hope to cure your erectile dysfunction. There are other ways to heal..like going to the doctor, you must try this once! #celinajaitly @TwitterSafety please take action.”
Celina Jaitley made her on-screen debut with the music video Oh Kehri. She made her Bollywood debut with Feroz Khan’s 2003 film Janasheen. She also appeared in Boney Kapoor’s production No Entry opposite Fardeen Khan.
