The minister said that no cattle rearer should leave the cows after milking because apart from cow’s milk, both cow dung and cow urine are important for the farmers.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Dharampal Singh said on Thursday that orders have been issued by the Animal Welfare Board India February 14 should be celebrated as ‘Gau Mata Samman Divas’ instead of Valentine’s Day.

The Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister told reporters in Bareilly, “An order has been issued by the Animal Welfare Board of India to celebrate Gau Mata Samman Diwas instead of Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2023, as cows are culturally and economically important to us. ” ,

He said that cows are economically important as zero budget farming is based on cow dung and urine.

The minister said that no cattle rearer should leave the cows after milking because apart from cow’s milk, both cow dung and cow urine are important for the farmers.

He said that cow urine destroys the germs of the fields and cow dung promotes organic and natural farming and is environment friendly.
