CBSE Term-2 Board Exams For Class 10, 12 To Start From April 26 In Offline Mode

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced that it will conduct the Term 2 Class 12 and Class 10 board examinations from April 26.

The CBSE Term-2 board examinations for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted in offline mode, CBSE Examination Controller told news agency PTI.

The first phase CBSE exams were held in November-December, 2021 and the result for the same is also yet to be declared.

The announcement for second term examinations comes as the country is now witnessing a downward trend in daily Coronavirus caseload.

While making the announcement of second term exam dates, CBSE said that the decision was taken after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

The board made the announcement and highlighted that exams will be conducted in offline mode as per following:

1. Term II Theory examinations will commence from April 26, 2022.

2. The pattern of the question papers will be the same as the Sample Question Papers hosted on Board website.

3. The students will appear in the examinations from the allotted examination centers as done during the preceding years.

4. The Date Sheet for classes X and XII will be released soon and the same will be available on Board’s website at www.cbse.nic.in

Meanwhile, the education board has also urged students and parents that messages/information floating on social media should be considered only after verifying the facts available on the CBSE website.

According to reports, the duration of the second phase of exams will be of two hours and the questions will be subjective.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry is paying special attention to the vaccination of students between the 15-18 years of age group so that they can appear for the board exams safely.
