CBSE launches Eklavya series with IIT Gandhinagar, first episode about ‘Golden Boy’ Neeraj Chopra

National Education Policy 2020: CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar have launched the Eklavya series with an aim to bring about a positive change in education and to encourage creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, thinking ability and simplifying learning methods in students. The focus of the series will be on clarifying the NEP (National Policy on Education) and effectively implementing NEP 2020 in schools. Eklavya is an interactive online educational program that will have a range of practical experiments and include projects that will teach complex subjects in a simple way. Tasks will be created that will inspire students to think out-of-the-box like why did Neeraj Chopra throw the spear at 36 degrees?

The registrations in Eklavya series have started from 10th September and the classes will start from 26th September. Live session will be conducted every Sunday from 4 PM to 5 PM. The first episode will be about Neeraj Chopra, who recently won a gold medal in India’s javelin throw event at the Tokyo Olympics and Newton’s Law of Motion.

This facility will be available free of cost to the students but keep in mind that registration is mandatory for this.

Why is it important for your child to join the Eklavya series?

DIY (Do It Yourself) will also be encouraged, with the help of which students can create projects using things from their surroundings. The aim is to be able to link the curriculum to life. The level of these tasks will be easy to difficult which will cover the subjects of Science and Mathematics of class VI-XII. Therefore, students in these grades have to register in these courses to be able to develop clarity of thought.
