CBSE extends dispute redressal mechanism registration till April 20

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Online Disputes Redressal Mechanism registration deadline for CBSE Term I exam has been extended till April 20, 2022. Now, schools can raise concerns against their Class 10 and Class 12 results within the new due date. The official notification is available on CBSE website cbse.nic.in.

Those who wish to raise any dispute regarding performance on Term 1 should note that they must first inform their student’s schools. Thereafter the school will act on the request of the student and if any dispute can be resolved at the school level, the school will inform the concerned student about the result in writing, read the recently released CBSE notification.

However, if the dispute is to be resolved by CBSE, a report comprising all the disputes received by the schools may be uploaded in one go on submission of the school request for resolution in the link available on the official notice, the notification said. .

In addition, parents and schools should note that the dispute request has to be uploaded on the portal within the stipulated time. Any request sent by the school on any email id or on any other platform will not be entertained by CBSE.

For this academic session, over 36 lakh students appeared for the first class 10 exam, which was conducted in November-December 2021. As per the CBSE notification, the Term 2 exam will be conducted from April 26. This year CBSE has already declared class 10 results for term 1 exam. The results are available with the schools and will be available to the students of their respective schools. No student will fail in the board exam this year. Apart from this, the board has also released this year’s datesheet for CBSE Term 2 exams. Irrespective of their score in Term 1 result, the board will allow students to take Term 2 board exam.
