CBSE will declare class 12 results this week (Representational image)
CBSE is expected to release the class 12 results this week on its official website. According to sources the Education Minister may announce the result date soon.

NS Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 result is likely to be released this week. According to sources Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will soon announce the result dates of the board students. The results, once declared, will be available on the official website of CBSE, cbse.nic.in. This year 14 lakh students had registered for the 12th board.
Delhi University (DU) has also announced that it will start its first year admission process on merit basis from August 2. So, it is expected that before that 12th results will be released as college admission will also start.
The Supreme Court had earlier said that the CBSE Class 12 results will be declared by July 31 and students who are not happy with the marks can appear for the written examination to be held between August 15 and September 15.
CBSE had extended the last date for submission of class 12 marks from July 22 to July 25. According to the board, the teachers were under stress, panic and were making mistakes while calculating the marks. They are sending a request to the board to rectify it. So Points submission deadline was extended on the CBSE Portal.
In the absence of written examination this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the performance of the students for the last three years is being evaluated. The final marks of class 10 and 11 will carry 30 percent weightage and the results of class 12 internal and practical marks will carry 40 percent weightage.
