CBSE 10th Result 2022 not today! Know when to check 10th, 12th term 2 results

In protest of the widely circulated reports, central board of secondary education (CBSE) is unlikely to declare class 10 results today, July 4. In fact, in keeping with our tradition, CBSE Will announce its class 12 results before class 10. This exercise is followed to ensure that the students in class 12 can start their admission process for the undergraduate courses. It is more important this year as many universities and colleges including Mumbai University have started their admission process while the central boards – CBSE and CISCE are yet to declare the results.

In the last years, CBSE has declared the results of 12th before 10th. For example in 2021, CBSE 12th results were declared on 30 July and CBSE 10th results were declared on 3 August. In 2020 also, CBSE 12th results were released on July 13 and July 10 till July 15. According to sources, the board will declare the results by July 13 this year.

Students can expect class 12 results by July 13 and class 10 results by July 15, though there is no official confirmation on the same yet. CBSE is expected to announce the dates officially soon. Once declared, the results will be available on cbse.nic.in, cbsresults.gov.in. This time CBSE has launched a new portal named Pariksha Sangam. CBSE 10th and 12th results will also be available on parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. Alternatively, students can also refer to DigiLocker mobile app and website to check their CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th marks.

This is the first two-term exam and may also be the last in recent years as from next year CBSE is going back to one annual exam in a year. with results, CBSE will also announce the final result calculation formula, The final results will be declared on the basis of Term 1 and Term 2 formulas. The exact weightage of each term is yet to be disclosed and there is a demand from the students that either the result should be based on the best performance of the students or Term 1 should get the least weightage. Even though CBSE conducts two term exams, students are not required to clear both. CBSE, while announcing the Term 1 results, had announced that students need not pass each term separately and obtaining 33 per cent marks in the final result would be sufficient to pass. CBSE did not release the data on how many students may or may not pass and students were allowed to appear in the Term 2 examination, irrespective of their marks.
