The CBI team has raided the Agra Cantt railway station of North Central Railway on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 July 2022. The CBI team that came from Ghaziabad reached the Personnel Department of the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Agra in the afternoon. The CBI team is interrogating office superintendent SK Soni here in connection with financial irregularities and bribery.
A three-member team of CBI is interrogating the railway employee in closed room. In this, DPOs are also present with the team. It is being told that office superintendent SK Soni has taken bribe from a contractor in some case. However, till now it has not been officially revealed that on whose complaint the CBI team has started investigation here and what developments have taken place in it. However, Prashasti Srivastava, Commercial Manager of Agra Railway Division has confirmed the CBI raid.
