Musewala’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur meeting Amit Shah in Chandigarh.
There may be a CBI or NIA investigation into the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that law and order is the subject of the state government. If the Punjab government recommends, the Center is ready for a CBI probe. Musewala’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Sarpanch Charan Kaur had met Shah at Chandigarh Technical Airport yesterday.
BJP leader Manjinder Sirsa met the family in village Musa. He said that for NIA or CBI investigation, it is necessary for the Punjab government to agree. Shah will talk to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann about this.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has already said that he is ready to do whatever the family says. In such a situation, if the Punjab Police does not get the result soon, then the state government can recommend it.
Sidhu Musewala was shot dead on 29 May at 5.30 pm in Mansa. At that time he was going to Thar jeep to inquire about the well being of a sick relative.
The murderer is still not known after 7 days
Punjabi singer Moosewala was murdered on May 29 at 5.30 pm in Jawaharke village, Mansa. Sharp shooters riding Corolla and Bolero opened fire on him. 7 days have passed since this incident but till now the killer is not known. Goldie Brar, the gangster of Lawrence Gang sitting in Canada, took responsibility for this, but the police have not yet disclosed the entire conspiracy.
The demand for inquiry from the sitting judge was not met.
Musewala’s family had demanded an inquiry into the murder by a sitting judge of the High Court. He did not even give consent for the post-mortem. After which the Punjab government also wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court. However, the High Court refused it citing shortage of judges and pending cases.
Punjab Police has changed SIT, result is nothing
The Punjab government has been badly engulfed in the Musewala murder case. For this, the Punjab government had to change the SIT within a week. Now the investigation has been handed over to the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF). Which will be monitored by ADGP Pramod Ban. In this, apart from IG Jaskaran Singh of PAP and AIG Gurmeet Chauhan of AGTF, a total of 5 members have been included. However, so far nothing has been found in the hands of Punjab Police.
