CBDT extends deadline for various tax compliances – Times of India

New Delhi: Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Tuesday extended several tax compliance deadlines as taxpayers are facing difficulties in electronic filing of certain forms.
The Income Tax (IT) Department in a tweet informed that the last date for e-filing of certain forms relating to Equalization Levy and Remittance is being extended under its provisions. income tax act, 1961.
Here are the revised dates:
* Equalization Levy Statement in Form-1: The deadline for the financial year 2020-21 has been extended till August 31. Earlier, the deadline was to be June 30, which was later extended to July 31.
* Quarterly Statement Form 15CC: The due date for this form has been extended from July 15 to August 31. This is to be furnished in respect of remittances made by authorized dealers for the April-June quarter.
* Details of income paid or credited by investment fund to the unit holder in Form 64D: Last date has been extended till 15th September
*Details of income paid or credited by investment fund to the unit holder in Form 64C: Last date has been extended till 30th September
* Information by the Pension Fund for every investment made in India in Form 10BBB: The form pertains to the quarter ending June 30 and needs to be submitted by September 30.
* Information by Sovereign Wealth Fund for investments made in India in Form II: Last date extended till 30th September
