Established to honor exemplary achievers HandicapIn its 20th edition, the award will be presented in two major categories – the KevinCare Ability Award for Eminence and the KevinCare Ability Mastery Awards.
The KevinCare Ability Awards were established to recognize the astonishing achievements of persons with disabilities. The awardees are presented with prize money, a trophy and a citation in recognition of their achievements. Since its inception in 2003, the CavinCare Ability Awards have honored over 80 individuals and brought to the fore their exemplary achievements.
The last date for receipt of nominations is December 10. A person can be nominated for any one category only.
Any Indian citizen with disability (as per the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995) who has done exceptional work in his/her chosen field is eligible to apply. Nominations go through a process of shortlisting, interviews and site visits, after which the recipients are selected by a jury.
