Chennai: FMCG Head kevincare, as part of its robust retail expansion plans, has announced the foray into quick service restaurants (QSR) with your brand new segment: wake up‘With.
launching its first outlet on perambur In Chennai, the brand plans to set up over 100 outlets at strategic locations across India by 2026. The outlet serves a range of dishes such as fried chicken, pizza (whole and sliced), signature burgers and softies.
With the Indian QSR segment expected to reach Rs 82,800 crore by FY2025, Cavincare said it aims to generate over Rs 150 crore revenue over the next five years.
Manuranjit Ranganathan, Director, Retail, said that their foray into the QSR space is in line with the new strategy of Cavincare 2.0. “Retail is one of the key divisions in Cavincare where we have made significant investments and also have major diversification plans in the future. A step in this direction is this entry with the launch of Jangoz to disrupt the space with the Cavincare innovation edge. With this segment growing at a CAGR of 15.4 per cent, as well as the untapped potential Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets, we are confident that Jangos will become a Rs 50 crore brand by 2026. The slice-and-bite space is set to emerge. The segment is in an early stage but we are positive that it will become the future of the QSR industry and we are happy to continue on this path…”
