The Common Admission Test or CAT 2022 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, 27th November. The exam for admission to IIMs and other B-schools will be conducted in three shifts. The first slot will run from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second slot from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and the last slot from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Report to the exam center as per the reporting time sent to you through SMS and email a day before the exam. Examinees must enter the examination venue before 8:15 AM for morning session, 12:15 PM for afternoon session and 4:15 PM for afternoon session. CAT 2022 is not allowed to be taken more than once. If any candidate is found appearing in the examination more than once, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is conducting CAT 2022. Around 2.5 lakh students are going to take the exam in 151 exam cities.
CAT 2022: What to carry to the exam center
Those who are going to appear for the exam must download their admit card from iimcat.ac.in and make a hard copy of it. Do not forget to print the admit card on A4 paper. If the photograph and signature image of the candidate is not printed correctly on the admit card, it will be treated as invalid. Attach the photograph uploaded by you at the time of applying for the examination in the space provided on the Admit Card before handing it over for verification.
Candidates will be given a pen and a scribble pad. Once the test is over the pen and scribble pad (with all the pages) should be put in the box along with the admit card.
CAT 2022: Item not allowed
Do not enter the testing lab with prohibited items like electronic gadgets. As per the guidelines, candidates are not allowed to wear any jewelery (or any item containing metal), thick soled shoes and clothes with big buttons inside the test lab. Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phone, electronic gadgets, watches, calculator, own stationery items, pen, wallet and goggles.
