Gurgaon: Police have registered a case against a 30-year-old man for impersonating a candidate Border Security Force ,B S f, recruitment exam And on their behalf is writing the exam for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector.
The recruitment exam for the posts of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) in the Department of Avionics, Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) and Assistant Radio Mechanic (ASI) in the Department of Mechanical in BSF Air Wing 2021 was held on November 28 at Lady Florence Public School. Begumpur Khatola.
The Vigilance team of BSF caught Hisar resident Prateek Kumar sitting in the examination hall instead of a candidate named Kapil Kumar. After this, the team lodged a complaint against Kumar at the Badshapur police station.
At present, Kumar is on one-day police remand. The related FIR covers sections 419 (punishment for cheating by impersonation), 420 (cheating and dishonesty) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC.
“He is on remand. The BSF team that apprehended him while appearing for the examination at the place of the examinee informed the matter. We are still probing the matter,” said a police officer.
As per preliminary investigation, Kumar was appearing for the exam for his friend, who had not prepared for it.
“However, it is difficult to confirm at the moment. We have sought remand for investigation and find out what was the real motive,” the police officer said.
