Bollywood actor Sahil Khan is in legal trouble after his name surfaced in the attempted suicide of model and bodybuilder Manoj Patil. According to ANI, Mumbai Police has registered a case against Sahil Khan and three others for allegedly abetting the suicide of actor Manoj Patil.
Earlier, on Thursday, Patil’s family had revealed that the bodybuilder had filed a complaint against Sahil Khan at the Oshiwara police station, stating that he was being harassed by the actor. In a letter submitted to the Oshiwara police, Patil had demanded action against Sahil Khan. was allegedly defaming him on social media and creating problems in his professional life.
Former Mr India contest winner Manoj Patil had allegedly tried to commit suicide by consuming sleeping pills at his residence in suburban Oshiwara in the early hours of Thursday, police said. His manager Pari Naaz said that after the alleged incident took place between 12.30 am and 1 am at Patil’s house at Saila Bhavan in Oshiwara, his family members took him to the hospital, where his condition was described as “critical”. Presently he is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Later in the day, after his name was dragged into the controversy, Sahil Khan hosted a press conference to clarify his stand. Sahil Khan, who played N. Chandras, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2001 release, “Style”, said that the whole affair is between Manoj Patil and a man named Raj Faujdar.
Sahil said that he will present his side of the story during the press conference. The actor further said that legal action should be taken against the person found to be wrong in the case. Khan said he would reveal the reason why his name was dragged into the controversy.
“I have been involved in Mr. Manoj Patil’s suicide attempt case and so today I want to bring out my side of the story. I want to speak about the real truth and real reason why my name was bought in this controversy. , with evidence. If after that someone feels that my explanation and evidence is not enough, then let the legal system do its due diligence, but if any other person is proved wrong then legal action should be taken against him also. ” Sahil.
