Ambala: Ambala Police has registered a case against five identified and some unidentified persons for showing black flags to Kurukshetra MP (MP) Naib. Singh Saini Feather Korwa Khurdo On Friday evening in the village of Shahzadpur block of Ambala district.
On the complaint of an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ishwar Dyal Case registered against Parmeshwar alias in-charge of PCR-22 Priest, Baljinder, Gurwinder Singh, Gurpreet alias Deepa, Navdeep alias Janta and some unidentified persons under sections 148 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to public servant by his duty), 341 (wrongful restraint), 353 ( assault or criminal) at Shahzadpur police station on Saturday under force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 427 (mischief), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of .
ASI God’s MP Nayab Saini Korwa was returning after attending a marriage ceremony in Khurd village, and was on his way to his residence in Narayangarh.
Meanwhile, around 8-10 people stopped the convoy with black flags and sticks, abusing MP Naib Saini. They also attacked the MP’s car, although the policemen were successful in clearing the convoy’s way from there. The attackers also threatened. The MP will have to face dire consequences if he goes to his village again”, ASI Eshwar said in his complaint.
SHO Shahzadpur Rajesh Kumar said, ‘No one has been arrested so far and the matter is being investigated. As of now, the reason behind the opposition is not clear and it will be ascertained after the arrest.”
