A man was pronounced dead following a car explosion that occured in a residential area in Herzliya on Friday, Israel media reported on Friday morning.
MDA reported that another man was moderately injured from the incident and has been taken to the hospital for burn treatment.
Two fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene to take control of the fire that broke out following the explosion.
The incident’s circumstances are under investigation. The car explosion is believed to be related to gang violence from the Kinneret area.
