Captain Amarinder Singh said on Twitter, “Met Union Home Minister @AmitShah ji in Delhi. Discussed the long-running farmers’ agitation against #FarmLaws and urged them to repeal the laws and resolve the crisis immediately with the guarantee of MSP, apart from supporting Punjab in crop diversification.

Farmers in different parts of the country, especially Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, have been protesting along Delhi’s borders since November last year, demanding the repeal of three controversial agricultural laws, which they fear. Minimum Support Price (MSP) will come to an end. ) system, leaving them at the mercy of large corporations.

However, the Narendra Modi-led government is touting the three laws as major agricultural reforms. More than 10 rounds of talks between the two sides have failed to break the deadlock.
