Canadian actor dies after undergoing surgery to look like BTS singer Jimin
Canadian actor St. Von Colusi passed away in South Korea after 12 surgeries. He was trying to look like BTS singer Jimin.
Canadian actor Saint Von Colucci has died at the age of 22 after undergoing 12 plastic surgeries to look like BTS singer Jimin. His publicist told dailymail.com that the actor died in South Korea on Sunday after complications developed following a recent cosmetic surgery. Colucci reportedly moved from Canada to South Korea in 2019 to pursue a career in the K-pop industry. It is claimed that Colucci spent $220,000 (about Rs 1 crore 80 lakh) on 12 surgeries, including a facelift, a nose job and an eye lift.
According to a Page Six report, he had surgery on Saturday to remove a jaw implant that was put in last November. He was reportedly informed about the risk involved in the surgery. After surgery, Colucci developed an infection and was immediately intubated. He died a few hours later.
“It’s very sad and very unfortunate,” Colucci’s publicist Eric Blake told the publication. He said the actor didn’t like his “very square jaw and chin”. He felt it was ‘too wide’. Blake said, “He was very insecure about his looks.”
Talking about the basic features of the actor, reports revealed that Colucci had black hair and blue eyes. He was 6 feet tall. “It was very difficult for her to get a job in South Korea and she felt very discriminated [because of] His Western look,” Blake claimed. He added that Colusi filmed a Korean drama series titled “Pretty Lies”, in which he plays BTS singer Jimin. The show is set to air in October this year.
BTS member Jimin is yet to respond to the report.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time someone has tried going under the knife to look like Jimin. Internet personality Olly London has previously made headlines for undergoing 32 surgeries to look like a K-pop star.
