Sharad said that from coconut, almond to onion extracts, all the oils act as good conditioners. According to experts, the oil nourishes the hair shaft and tackles dryness and dryness. It forms a protective coat on the hair shaft, however, she said, adding that hair oils cannot cause hair growth or reduce hair loss. She also busted a common myth, which is that people believe that hair oil is the solution to dandruff too. Sharad quickly said that a 2% ketoconazole based-shampoo or zinc pyrithione-based shampoo would solve all the problems related to dandruff.

And along with these tips, the dermatologist highlights that supplementing with vitamins A, B, C, D, E and minerals like calcium, zinc, magnesium, chromium, iron are very beneficial for hair health. She also mentioned that consuming a high protein diet would also help in keeping hair problems at bay.
