CHENNAI: Two bikers were killed when their vehicle was hit by a speeding car near Padappai on Saturday night. The deceased were identified as Udhayakumar, 18, and Lokesh, 19, of Sriperumbudur.
The victims were riding triples along with one Vignesh, 18 from Panaiyur. They were on the Vandalur-Wallajahbad road, going towards Vandalur when the accident took place. Udhayakumar, was riding the bike.
The trio were crossing the road on the bike when they were hit by the car. Udhayakumar and Lokesh died on the spot due to the impact of the accident. Vignesh suffered severe injuries and is under treatment. Police have launched a hunt for the car driver.
