Budget 2023: ‘The Whole World has its Eyes on India’s Budget,’ Says PM Modi Ahead of Parliament Session

New DelhiAhead of the budget session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India’s budget will try to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of common citizens amid the volatile global economic situation. PM Modi said, “Our Finance Minister will present another budget in front of the country tomorrow. In today’s global circumstances, not only India but the whole world is looking towards India’s budget.”

The Prime Minister expressed firm confidence that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will make efforts to fulfill the aspirations. Amidst the volatile global economic situation, the budget of India will try to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the common citizens and provide a ray of hope. I have a firm belief that Nirmala Sitharaman will make all efforts to fulfill those aspirations that the world is seeing more brightly,” PM Modi said while addressing the media.

The prime minister cited “credible voices from the world of economics” and said they brought a positive message ahead of the session. Today, the budget session is starting. Positive message, ray of hope and beginning of enthusiasm. This is an important event today. ,

“The President is going to address a joint session for the first time today. The first address of the President to a joint session of Parliament is a matter of pride for our Constitution and especially for the honor of women. The eyes of the whole world are on India. “Our finance minister is also a woman. She will present another budget to the nation tomorrow. In today’s global circumstances, not only India, the whole world is looking towards India’s budget,” PM Modi added.

The budget session will be held in 27 sittings till April 6 with a break of one month for scrutiny of budget papers. The first part of the session will end on February 13. Parliament will resume on March 12 for the second part of the budget session and conclude on April 6.
