Titled Muse, this album represents Jimin’s first full-length solo release since his debut with Face in March 2023. Previously, the BTS member had hinted at new music, sparking much anticipation and excitement. BigHit Music, Jimin’s record label, has confirmed the news, stating that his second solo album will be released next month.

Jimin Announces New Music

Announcing his second solo album, Jimin dropped an exciting teaser video for his upcoming project. In the video, he could be seen walking inside a dark locker room and approaching one of the lockers. As he opens the locker, a piece of paper shows sheet music titled La Lettra. Also, one can spot a small text that reads, “You will always find the first letter.”

The teaser video ends with Jimin’s exit from the room. The BTS singer can be seen sporting a formal look in a blazer and his iconic blonde hair.

Later, BigHit Music issued a statement, sharing details about the album, Muse. The album will have a total of seven tracks, including the fan song Closer Than This, which was released in December 2023. While pre-orders for Muse will begin on June 18, 2024 (KST), it will be released on July 19, 2024 (KST).

“We are excited to share details about the release of BTS member Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.” We ask for your continued love and support for Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.” Following his first solo album, “FACE,” where he sought to explore his true identity, “MUSE” documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration,” the statement read.

As soon as the album was announced, fans took to social media platforms and expressed their happiness and excitement. Many even drew nostalgic references to BTS’ vocal line track, The Truth Untold, from their Love Yourself album.
