BTS singer Jin gives an update about his post-military discharge plans. The singer confirmed he’s working on new music.
Recently discharged from the military, BTS singer Jin is working hard on a grand comeback. The singer, who is the first Bangtan member to have completed his military training, confirmed he is working some new music and is also likely to appear on several shows.
Kim Seok-jin shared the update while replying to a fan who was asking his whereabouts on Weverse. “Jin hyung what are you doing these days?” the fan asked. As translated by a fan, Jin replied, “I’ve been recording, filming variety shows, and I’m slowly making progress on plans I made in the military, one by one. I am showing my face as much as I can but also doing my main job. The final products will all be released a few months later so please wait just a little bit more.”

Jin also confirmed he has no plans of pursuing acting as of now. “Waiting for actor Jin,” a fan posted. Jin said, “I don’t have any plans to actㅠㅠ sorry.”
Meanwhile, fans are also doing a countdown to J-Hope’s military discharge. The BTS rapper is set to be discharged on October 17. A fan shared a post with Hobi’s photos from his time in the military and said, “It’s not long before it’s beautiful he returns.” Jin joined the fan in their countdown. “Wow hope-ah there’s not long (time) left~ You have to work hard too after you come out. I rested for exactly one day after i was discharged,” Jin admitted.
