BTS: Jungkook Pens Cryptic Post About Using Artists Amid NewJeans and HYBE Conflict, BigHit Reacts – News18

BTS singer Jungkook has seemingly come out in support of NewJeans amid their public fight with HYBE. The singer issued a cryptic commnet through his dog Bam’s Instagram account, Bam’s Dad, in which he urged people to not use artists in what seems to be wars between two companies.

Sharing a photo of Bam, he wrote, ” Artists are not guilty.” He followed it up with another post which he wrote, “Don’t use them.” At first, K-pop fans presumed that the account was hacked. However, BigHit Music clarified that the account has not been hacked and it is the BTS singer who is managing it.

“We have confirmed that he made the posts because he thought that under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into conflicts or used as a shield,” the agency said, as reported by Soompi.

This confirmation led to an uproar in the fandom. The ARMY praised Jungkook for taking a stand for the girl group. “Jungkook defending newjeans ☹️ my sweet boy he knows this isn’t their fault and only the fault of the greedy adults around them,” a fan wrote. “If jungkook posted that y’all know damn well that he knows the kpop industry better than anyone of yall. If you’re hating on NewJeans, there is literally no excuse for you. You’re nothing but a bully that is hating on minors that are innocent,” said a fan, addressing those hating on the group.

For the unversed, last week, NewJeans members made the headlines after they held a broadcast on YouTube. The group addressed HYBE directly and requested for Min Hee Jin to be brought back as CEO of ADOR. They gave the group a deadline of September 25.
