BTS singer Jin has been discharged from military. Members RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook welcomed him back.
BTS member Jin has been discharged from the military. The singer enlisted in December 2022 and has now completed his compulsory military training. His discharge ceremony was an emotional event not just for fans who have been waiting for his return but also Kim Seok-jin. In videos surfacing from the discharge ceremony, Jin was seen wiping his tears as he prepared to leave the military camp. To top it off, his fellow BTS members were present to welcome him back.
In videos now gone viral, uniform-clad Jin was first welcomed by BTS leader RM. The rapper presented him with flowers and performed their Grammy-nominated song Dynamite on the saxophone. Jin then met J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook as well. It is reported that Suga couldn’t join the members at the ceremony but will meet him later in the day.

It was previously revealed that the OT7 members would reunite at Jin’s discharge ceremony. They had applied for a day off for Jin’s big day. BTS’ agency, BigHit Music had requested fans not to gather outside the military camp that Jin would be discharged from to avoid any inconvenience.
“Please note that the discharge day is reserved for military personnel only. No special events are planned on the day of Jin’s discharge. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts,” the agency said in a statement issued on Weverse.
Kim Seok-jin completed his military training just in time for BTS’ anniversary. The group debuted on June 13, 2013. This year, the group has completed 11 years. Jin will be celebrating the big day with fans.
BigHit Music had announced Jin would be meeting a few lucky fans at a special event organised by the agency. At the event, Jin would not only do a meet and greet but also give out hugs. The fan meet will take place in two batches, one of which will be streamed on Weverse for a paid amount.
