BTS singer Jimin is all set to make his K-drama OST debut with the upcoming Korean show Our Blues. The makers of the show confirmed that the Bangtan members are voicing a song from the show. K-drama is one of the most awaited shows of this summer owing to its stellar star cast. Actors in the show are Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-ah, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-un, Kim Hee-ja, Go Doo-shim and Uhm Jung-swa. . among others.
As reported by Sompy, a source from the production company in charge of the song – Yamayam Entertainment – has confirmed the news of Jimin’s OST. “Jimin will be participating as an OST vocalist for TVN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Our Blues.’ As Jimin from world-class group BTS will join us, we will kick-start the drama with an excellent OST song that tells the story. Matches well with the flow of the show,” said the insider.
In the past year, Jimin has become the latest BTS member to lend his voice to the K-drama’s OST. Previously, BTS’s Biggest member Jin sang Yours for TVN’s Jirrison, while Wee aka Kim Taehyung sang Christmas Tree ‘Our Beloved Summer’ for SBS.
The makers of Our Blues have yet to reveal further details about the song’s theme and release date. However, if we consider the way Jin’s Yours and Wee’s Christmas Tree was released, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Jimin’s song would drop a few episodes after the show premiered. Given that the song’s announcement has already generated a buzz, the producers are likely to tease the song in the first few episodes before treating fans to the full version. If they follow this timeline, Jimin’ Inferior Blues song could drop by the end of April.
