BTS: J-Hope says ‘honoured to be first South Korean artist to headline Major US festival’ like Lollapalooza

The excitement among BTS army before Lollapalooza 2022 is increasing every day. On June 18, the Chicago-based annual four-day music festival took to their Twitter handle and released a video featuring BTS member J-Hope.

The organizers shared the video with the caption, “A message from J-Hope, your latest headliner.”

In the video, J-Hope shared a message to his BTS army. “What’s going on Army! I can’t wait to meet you all at Lollapalooza on July 31. It’s an honor to be the first South Korean artist to headline a big festival,” he said in the video.

He also mentioned that he is looking forward to seeing other famous artists at the festival. “I’m so excited to see other artists like Dua Lipa, Jay Cole, Tomorrow x Together, and many more. I’m working hard to put together an incredible show for all of you. So, Lollapalooza today. Get your ticket at .com. See you, Chicago!” He added.

On June 8, the event’s organizers announced the news, leaving BTS ARMY excited. J-Hope is the first South Korean artist to perform as the headliner of the music festival. The event’s official account captioned the post, “We are thrilled to announce that J-Hope of BTS will headline Lollapalooza on Sunday, July 31st! His performance would make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to headline the main stage at a major American music festival. ,

J-Hope will take the stage this year with other big names like Metallica, Dua Lipa, Jay Cole, Green Day and Lil Baby and close the show. Additionally, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will also make its debut at the Lollapalooza stage in the US on July 30.

Lollapalooza takes place each year in historic Grant Park between the Chicago skyline and the shores of Lake Michigan. The major music festival will start from July 28 and go on till July 31.
