Directorate General of Border Security Force has released a notification inviting applications for 1284 Constable (Tradesman) posts out of which 1220 are for Male and 64 for Female candidates. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts at the official website of Border Security Force, rectt.bsf.gov.in.
Applications for these vacancies must be submitted by March 27. Each candidate can apply for only one post advertised. Applicants must keep in mind the fact that they can apply only for those posts which are assigned to the state in which they are domiciled.
BSF Constable Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Age Range: Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years as on 27 March. This age restriction may be relaxed in the case of candidates for posts belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and other special categories of employees, as per rules of the Central Government. ,
Educational qualification: Candidates can apply for these posts provided they have passed 10th class or its equivalent examination from a recognized board and fulfill any other qualification specified in the announcement.

Candidates applying for the posts falling under Unreserved (UR), EWS, or OBC categories will have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100, plus a service charge of Rs. 47.20 in Common Service Center (CSC).
BSF Constable Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The recruitment process will begin with a written test of 100 marks administered in both Hindi and English, followed by Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Trade Test and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Candidates finally selected for Constable (Tradesman) posts will get compensation at Level 3 of the Pay Matrix, salary ranging between Rs 21,700 to 69,100 plus any additional benefits that may be given to Central Government employees at times .
