Boys shine in Vadodara’s 100% CISCE results Vadodara News – Times of India

VADODARA: Schools in the city under the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) registered 100 per cent results in class 10 and class 12 examinations announced on Saturday. Both Billabong High International School and Nalanda International School scored 100 percentile in the exam.
Nivedita Chavda, a student of Nalanda International School, who has topped the humanities stream in Vadodara with 99.75%, told TOI: “I am happy with my result!”
“For the 11th year in a row, our class 10 students have secured 100% results in ICSE. We had 24 students in our 10th batch,” said Dr Preeti Srimal, principal of Billabong High International School. He said that Prisha Thapar has topped the school with 96%.
Shrimal said, “Our seventh ISC batch of 25 students also made us proud with 100% results in all the three streams of class 12th – Humanities, Commerce and Science.”
Humanities student Waridhi Himanshu Khatsuria topped the list of successful candidates with 99.5% in the school.
Hussainali Sibten Attarwala secured 95.75 per cent in Science stream, Priyal Sunil Kumar Singhal, a commerce student, scored 96 per cent.
Nivedita was continuously working towards her goal for the last two years. “In my internal examinations I was scoring full marks and all my efforts were directed towards finally achieving this result. Despite the challenges of the online mode of education, I was determined to get full marks in psychology, sociology and political science,” said the student, who will be studying studio art at Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
According to a release issued by CISCE, boys have performed better than girls in both ISCE and ISC in Gujarat. While the pass percentage in class 10th is 99.97%, it is 99.95% in class 12th.
All 2,099 boys have successfully passed class 10th, while only one out of 1,355 girls has failed the exam.
In class 12th, all 1,216 boys passed their exams successfully, while one out of 773 girls did not pass their exams.
