No one is stopping RRR. SS Rajamouli’s epic drama is already doing an impressive job at the Telugu box office and now, it is reported that the film is likely to register a spot in the Rs 200 crore club. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal that the Hindi version of RRR is inching towards Rs 200 crore. That’s not everything! The film gave a tough competition to John Abraham’s Attack at the box office.
“#RRR is super-solid…will cross ₹200 cr on Tuesday [Day 12]… #TKF and #RRR, two ₹200 crore films in #March, unbelievable indeed… Also, #JrNTR and #RamCharan’s first ₹200 crore grosser [#Hindi], [Week 2] Venus 13.50 crores, Saturn 18 crores, Sun 20.50 crores. Total: ₹ 184.59 crore. #BharatBiz,” he tweeted.
“#attack is below the mark…no major surge/bounce on Days 2 & 3 disappointing…#RRR wave has affected its prospects in large areas also…Fri 3.51 cr, Shani 3.75 cr , Surya 4.25 Cr. Total: ₹ 11.51 Cr. #India biz,” Taran added in another tweet.
If RRR does a business of Rs 200 crore at the Hindi box office, it will become the second Hindi film to cross the Rs 200 crore collection. Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files released in February and is doing great at the box office. Taran on Monday revealed that the film has slowed down at the box office but is closing in on the Rs 250 crore mark.

Though there is no major release this weekend, theaters are gearing up for Yash’s KGF 2. The film is one of the most awaited films of the year and like RRR, it is set to release in multiple languages. KGF 2 will clash with Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey at the box office.
