‘Bom Diggy’ singer Jack Knight’s father passes away

New Delhi: Singer Jack Knight rose to fame in Bollywood for the song ‘Bom Diggy’ from Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. He is a British-Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician, formerly known by his stage name ‘Zeeke’.

The ‘Bom Diggy’ singer revealed in his latest social media post that he has lost his father. Jack Knight also penned a heartfelt note for his father and shared some fond memories with his father captured in pictures.

Sharing this, Jack Knight wrote, ‘My dad, my best friend and my idol passed away this week. He was my biggest supporter and my number 1 fan. He may be a doctor, but he was the one who supported and encouraged me to pursue my music, whereas many other parents would not. Please pray for him”.

Talking about Jack Knight, the singer was born to a Pakistani-Punjabi mother and an Afro-Pakistani father in England. He is a multilingual artist and has composed music in English, Hindi/Urdu, Punjabi and some elements of Arabic and Bengali.

Jack is famous for his remixes, mashups and medleys. His previous release, the song titled ‘Para Rum Pa’, in collaboration with Jarned Mia and Kayyas Rashid, has garnered over 3 million views on YouTube. Apart from ‘Bom Diggy’, Jack Knight is also known for his hit songs like ‘Galliyan’, ‘Nakhre’, ‘Dushman’ and others.
