Indian documentary ‘Writing With Fire’ is one step closer to Oscar gold as it earned a nomination for Best Documentary Feature at the 94th edition of the Academy Awards, Director Rintu Thomas could not contain her excitement and it showed in her reaction video that went viral on Twitter. “We are beyond delighted. This is a massive moment for us and Indian cinema… This film is about fearless Dalit women journalists who are redefining what being powerful means, quintessentially the story of the modern Indian woman,” co-director Sushmit Ghosh said in a statement.
Sonu Sood saved the life of a 19-year-old boy who was involved in a serious road accident in Moga, Punjab. Upon seeing the state of the accident site, the actor reportedly carried the unconscious boy to a car and hastened him to the nearest hospital. The boy received timely medical treatment at the hospital and is now doing fine.
