Bob Wall dies at 82: Martial arts icon worked with Bruce Lee on Enter the Dragon – Henry Club

Martial arts icon Bob Wall, who worked with the late Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, has died at the age of 82.

‘Bob was the greatest husband and father,’ his family told tmz in a statement on Monday. ‘Family was everything to him. He lived a remarkable life and there is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

‘His spirit and legacy will live on forever within us. He was our rock.’

Wall had trained extensively with Norris, and according to the outlet had a 9th degree Tang Soo Do black belt under the tutelage of Action Star.

Wall was seen with Lee in films including Enter the Dragon in 1973 and The Way of the Dragon in 1972.

Wall said in an interview years later that he suffered a broken rib as a result of the scene with Lee, who made it clear that he wanted to go full speed ahead of the filming sequence, according to the outlet.

Wall said that Lee told him, ‘Bob, I want to hit you, and I want to hit you hard’ in an attempt to make the scene more realistic.

The Wall was broken during the screening of Dragon – The Bruce Lee Story at the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California on April 28, 1993.

Wall’s other notable roles were alongside Norris in the TV show Walker, Texas Ranger from 1994–2001, Sidekicks in 1992, and Hero and the Terror in 1988.

In recent years, Wall was featured in films such as 2018’s Anatomy of an Antihero 3, 2020’s Anatomy of an Antihero: Redemption and 2021’s The Emissary Movie.

In the piece, Wall also praised his family, which included mother Reva, wife Lillian, and daughters Shana and Karra.
