Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan test COVID positive

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sealed Sanjay Kapoor’s Juhu building and declared it a containment zone after the actor’s wife Maheep Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19. According to reports, all the people who came in contact with Sanjay and Maheep are being traced and tested. His RTPCR report is awaited. Earlier, the BMC had sealed the respective buildings of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora after they tested positive. His close friend Seema Khan had also contracted the virus. This comes as Kareena attended a party at Karan Johar’s residence to celebrate 20 years of her iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Meanwhile, according to BMC sources, Karan’s Covid result has come negative, but RT PCR test is going on in his building. Filmmaker’s mother Hiroo Johar, along with 40 others at her building, were tested for the virus. 10 of Karan’s staff were also tested.
Kareena, Maheep and Seema have been home-quarantined as per the protocol of the Mumbai civic body. The attendees at Karan’s party have also been accused of violating the COVID-19 guidelines by being a part of the party amid the current Omicron threat.
Speaking to ETimes, Kareena’s father and actor Randhir Kapoor said that Kareena decided to go for tests after she developed mild fever and body ache. She confirmed that she was doing fine otherwise with the doctors who were taking care of her. She also said that she voluntarily took care of her kids Taimur and Jeh during their quarantine period, but Kareena insisted on keeping them with her.
