Electric ride-hailing platform BlueSmart Mobility on Wednesday launched its first EV intercity ride from Delhi NCR to Chandigarh and Delhi NCR to Jaipur.
The company said that it will offer the MG ZS EV to its customers for these intercity rides.
BlueSmart Mobility informed that intercity rides are currently available to BluePrivate members through the company’s loyalty program and said it plans to make it available to all its customers in a few months.
The ride-hailing company said it is setting up charging infrastructure in Delhi NCR to support the EV fleet. With the introduction of intercity rides, BlueSmart aims to address range anxiety and create charging infra for private and public EV owners along major national highways to boost EV adoption.

The company said it has completed more than 1 million all-electric trips so far and covered more than 35 million clean kilometers since launch.
