Bloody Daddy teaser OUT: Shahid Kapoor leaves no room for mercy while beating up the goons | Watch

Looks like 2023 will be the year for Bollywood’s charmer Shahid Kapoor, Ever since the first look of the actor’s upcoming film Bloody Daddy was released, Shahid has become the talk of the town. The makers have now released the first teaser of the film and it has sent fans into a frenzy. Shahid can be seen in an intense action-rowdy avatar, entering the screen with full swag and knife in hand. The action then moves forward to show how Shahid’s character aims to avenge the personal crisis. The teaser speeds up to show that the action involves “police, family and a lot of blood”. The film is an official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche.

Directed by Tiger Zinda Hai’s Ali Abbas Zafar, the action thriller sees Shahid in a rugged avatar, taking down several goons at a hotel over the course of one night. Glimpses of Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty are also shown in the teaser. Bloody Daddy is the first collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor. Shahid shared the teaser on his Instagram and captioned it as, “Get ready for a hell of a good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9th, 2023 on @officialjiocinema.”

After the teaser, Shahid Kapoor fans unanimously shared their views and said that the clip gave a glimpse of ‘John Wick’. One of them commented, “Desi John Wick!” Another wrote, “The teaser is great! Can’t wait to watch the movie!” Someone else said, “We want a theatrical release!” A fan said, “Proper theatrical material. Don’t ruin this masterpiece by releasing it on OTT!” Another said, “I just can’t wait!”

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor recently made his OTT debut with Raj and DK’s series. It is an eight-part series that also stars South stars Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar and Regina Cassandra. Touted as a fast-paced and edgy crime thriller, “Fargie” revolves around an underdog street artist who seeks to conquer the system that favors the rich. Taking up an issue like forgery, which is termed no less than ‘financial terrorism’ (in the series), the series is praised for its content as well as performances. What follows is an exciting cat and mouse race between Shahid and the law enforcement where losing is not an option. The lead actors have confirmed the second season of the series.
