Blast at Raipur Railway Station: Box full of detonator left by jawan in CRPF special train, 4 injured in blast

After the blast in the CRPF special train, CRPF and police personnel started rescue on the spot.

A CRPF special train exploded at Raipur railway station in Chhattisgarh on Saturday morning. Four jawans including a head constable were injured in the blast. The head constable has been admitted to the hospital, while 3 jawans have received minor injuries. It is being told that the accident happened during loading of goods. The box got lost while carrying the explosive box. It exploded there.

Police said that at around 6.30 am, the special train of CRPF was standing on platform number 2. In this, three companies of soldiers were being shifted. During baggage loading, a box full of explosives got lost near the gate of bogie number 9. It exploded. Head constable Sushil Chauhan, constable Chavan Vikas Laxman, Ramesh Lal, Ravindra Kar and Dinesh Kumar Paikra were injured in the accident.

Head constable’s hand, leg and back injury
Head constable Vishal Chauhan has been admitted to Narayana Hospital in Raipur. Surgeon Dr. Neeraj Pandey told that Chauhan has injuries in his back, arms, legs and head. There is a fracture in the head. He will have to operate. The good news is that his condition is out of danger. The remaining 3 jawans have left with the train with first aid.

CRPF said – this is not negligence, accident
CRPF DIG Rajkumar, who reached the hospital to see the injured jawan, told that the blast took place during transportation. All the jawans are out of danger. The train was going to Nagpur. Sometimes it takes a jolt to carry the luggage. This is a sensitive material. This is not negligence, such an accident can happen while carrying any goods.
