Blame game erupts within Gyanvapi Mosque survey team, more

Advocate commissioner Ajay Mishra, who was removed from his post in the panel tasked to conduct a survey inside the Gyanvapi mosque complex, said he will respect the local court’s order, while blaming special advocate commissioner Vishal Singh for the outcome. “I have not done anything that reveals the secrecy of the matter. I was removed because of the origin of advocate Vishal Singh…Whatever has happened is only because of (him),” Mishra said.

The Congress claimed that the Karnataka government had omitted a lesson on Bhagat Singh and included a speech by RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in a revised Kannada textbook for students of class 10.

However, the Karnataka government issued a clarification on Tuesday saying that it hasn’t dropped a chapter related to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh from school textbooks.
