The latest buzz began on July 18, when a user on the Nate Pann forum asked, “Are Rose and Cha Eun Woo really dating? I saw something on YouTube, but there aren’t any news articles. Are the rumours true?” This question sparked a renewed flurry of speculation and debate among fans.

A TikTok video that compiles various pieces of ‘evidence’ has gone viral, showing both K-pop idols visiting the same cafe and attending the same art show in Japan around the same time. These coincidences have fuelled fan theories, although not everyone is convinced.
Many South Korean netizens are skeptical, dismissing the rumours as overblown. “I think they’re just acquaintances because all the ’97 liners are close,” one user commented on Nate Pann.
