All four members Jisso, Rose, Jennie, and Lisa joined the live stream video at midnight.

After a long wait of nearly nine months, Blackpink has finally come together! One of the most popular K-pop girl groups, all the members have presently shifted their focus to their own solo projects. While fans were eagerly waiting for their reunion, the girls didn’t disappoint them at all, as they surprisingly reconnected to celebrate the band’s 8th debut anniversary. Blackpink’s Jisso, Rose, Jennie, and Lisa hosted a special livestream event to mark the significant milestone, leaving fans emotional and thrilled.

On August 8, as soon as the clock struck midnight, the official Blackpink account shared the celebration video. Following this, there was a notification on Weverse, confirming that all four members are together for the anniversary and want to connect with the BLINKs (fandom name).

In the video, the quartet could be seen beaming with joy as they greeted the fans for the first time as a group in months. After their sweet wishes, they also sang a birthday song for both themselves and their devoted fans and cut two decadent cakes. Later, the members spoke on a number of things. While revealing that they had been meeting separately over the past few months, the girls also reflected on their solo activities.

After a lot of candid conversations, the live stream ended with a slight hint of a possible live session the following day. Meanwhile, BLINKs were elated as many took to social media platforms and shared their excitement. They also shared short clips from the live stream, expressing their happiness to see all four together.

Blackpink Set To Make Comeback?

Having gone their separate ways last year, it seems like the beloved K-pop group is making plans to reunite. While YG Entertainment earlier revealed the agency’s plans for 2025, founder Yang Hyun Suk also confirmed that Blackpink will release an album next year. “There will be a highly anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK. And it will also be the year BLACKPINK starts their world tour,” he said in a video on YouTube.

However, not much has been revealed about their group concert or album as of yet. Their last tour took place in 2022. Since then, while they never disbanded officially, Jennie, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo went forward to sign individual contracts.
