BLACKPINK member Rose is rumored to be dating South Korean actor Kang Dong-Won. The two shared an age difference of 16 years.
A new report claims that BLACKPINK member Rosey, 26, is dating South Korean actor Kang Dong-Won, 42. Rosé, currently performing at Coachella Valley with her fellow K-pop group members Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo, sparked dating rumors with the Broker actor after the two were spotted together at a social gathering.
In a photo that is now going viral, Rosé was seen posing for a photo with Kang Dong-Won posted by Riccardo Tisci, former creative head of Burberry. Original picture has been removed. However, fans are sharing screenshots of the same on various social media platforms.
Responding to their dating speculation, YG Entertainment issued a statement but did not clarify Rose’s relationship status. “It is difficult to confirm facts related to our artist’s personal life,” the agency said, reports Soompi. It’s worth noting that Kang Dong-won and Rosé were labelmates until last year. The South Korean actor parted ways with YG Entertainment in December 2022.
While we await more details about their relationship, Rosé recently made headlines after shocking drug allegations against her surfaced. In the same photo featuring Rosé and Kang Dong-won that sparked dating rumors, some netizens claimed to see drug paraphernalia on the table with other party members in the photo.
YG Entertainment addressed the rumors over the weekend, saying, “We reveal that the everyday rumors related to BLACKPINK that are circulating on various online communities, social media, etc. are clearly false information. We are taking legal action against our agency for defaming and violating the artist’s human rights. We are currently monitoring those creating and spreading rumours, and will take strict legal action in future without any leniency or redress.”
