Black Adam movie to release on October 21
The trailer for Black Adam is out and DC Comics fans are watching Dwayne Johnson’s turn as the titular superhero closely. It is the first film in the genre of The Rock and huge anticipation is riding on the film to hit the screens on October 21.
Black Adam has The Rock as Shazam’s mighty hero and swearing-in, played by Zachary Levy in the 2019 original film and upcoming sequel Shazam: Fury of the Gods, which is set to be released next year.

After more than a decade in development, Black Adam will release later this year. Johnson was originally supposed to enter the DC universe in 2019’s Shazam as Black Adam. However, his role was scrapped when a spinoff for his character was flagged off in 2017.

The Justice Society of America
The upcoming film will also feature members of the Justice Society of America, an iconic group very similar to the Justice League. The superhero cast includes Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. The others are Marwan Kenzari, James Kusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer and Uli Latukefu, as well as the villainous group, Intergang, will also appear in the film.
The first look of Hawkman, Atom Smasher, Cyclone and Doctor Fate was shared in the first trailer of the film. Brosnan’s look caught the attention of the fans.
What to expect from Black Adam movie?
The upcoming film will be different from all the other DC films before it and that was evident in the trailer. Some of Blake Adam’s powers like super speed, super strength etc. are shown in the trailer as he fights. Rest assured, prepare to be blown away when the movie comes out. Another aspect that the producers will rely on is The Rock’s natural penchant for comedy.
