Talking to reporters, CM Bommai said that the tour would be intensified in other parts of the state during December.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said the BJP’s ‘Jan Sankalp Yatra’, a state-wide tour to lay the groundwork for the ruling party ahead of the state assembly polls, is getting “unprecedented” support from the people.

The BJP had launched the ‘Jan Sankalpa Yatre’ from Raichur in October.

He said, “Before the elections, we are going in front of the people with our performance. Bommai said, our Jan Sankalp Yatra has already covered Hyderabad Karnataka (Kalyana Karnataka), Central, Coastal and Mumbai Karnataka (Kittu Karnataka) regions.

Talking to reporters, he said that the tour would be intensified in other parts of the state during December.

We are providing information about the schemes of the Central and State Government to the people and instilling confidence in them. The Jan Sankalp Yatra is getting unprecedented support.

According to the BJP, the two teams – one led by Bommai and Yediyurappa and the other by state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel – plan to cover 52 assembly constituencies across the state before December 25.

Elections are expected to be held in the state in the first half of 2023.
