Gujarat is a BJP bastion and the party is trying to come back to power for the seventh consecutive term in the state which has 182 assembly seats. In this poll Congress got 30-42 seats with 32.6 per cent vote share, AAP got 2-10 seats with 15.4 per cent vote share and others got 0-3 seats with 3.8 per cent votes. Times Now-ETG poll gives 135-145 seats to BJP, 24-34 to Congress, 6-16 to AAP in Gujarat.

TV9 Gujarati gives 125-130 seats to BJP, 40-50 seats to Congress, 3-5 seats to AAP and 3-7 seats to others. 51 seats for Congress, 6-13 for AAP and 1-2 for others.

The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for 27 years and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the longest serving Chief Minister before becoming the Prime Minister. The Congress had given a tough fight to the ruling BJP in the last assembly elections in 2017. However, AAP can spoil the game for Congress by taking a significant vote share in its favour.
